PIMPINELLA ANISUM
FIRE ELEMENT
BLISS QI

Anise is the annual herb of the parsley family (Apiaceae), although it has a sweet flavor. It is cultivated chiefly for its fruits, called aniseed, the flavor of which resembles that of licorice. Anise is an annual, herbaceous plant that grows to approximately 3 feet tall. Its leaves near the base of the plant are simple, and the leaves higher on the stem are pinnate, and it flowers in July, in dense and white.

Emotionally, Anise helps with anxiety and insomnia and magically it can help to ward off the evil eye, find happiness, and stimulate psychic ability. As a powerful herbal remedy, it can aid in digestion, treating respiratory conditions including asthma and whooping cough. Externally, it is used as a chest rub in treatments of bronchial disorders.

In aromatherapy, Anise helps to ease bronchitis, colds and the flu.

Anise imparts sweet and unmistakable licorice flavor and has a similar aroma and taste profile to licorice root, fennel, and caraway.
  • Bodily Effect: Anise is used for treating cough and flu and also helps improve digestion, alleviate cramps, and reduce nausea.
  • Emotional Effect: Anise is used to encourage uplifting, stimulation, fearlessness, harmony, and balance and to dispel timidity.
  • Spiritual Effect: Spiritually, Anise, promotes clairvoyance, cleansing, gain, good luck, and happiness.
Ashwagandha Root's magical prowess includes promoting longevity, increasing Qi (the energy of ones body) and is used in aphrodisiac spells.

"An important herb in Chinese medicine, Anise when extracted from nature can provide a dose of natural power for healing and magical rituals."
